A meeting was held with women at the Associations education center in Tilak Nagar by BOSCO. The main topics discussed were BOSCOs public services, recent changes, human trafficking, and a new section called Fundraising and Resource Mobilization, which received special focus. This new initiative involves collecting food items, utensils, and clothing from refugees and redistributing them to other refugees in need through BOSCO. Therefore, it was announced if anyone has extra clothes, utensils, or food and wishes to help other refugees, they can donate them either to the Associations center in Tilak Nagar or to BOSCOs main center in Vikaspuri.
The Association of Hazara Voice for Justice (AHVJ) was founded in 2020 in New Delhi, India, by a group of Hazara refugees with the aim of advocating for the rights of refugees living in India and serving as a bridge between the Hazara community in India and relevant refugee organizations. AHVJ is also dedicated to offering educational, vocational, and awareness programs to help refugees enhance their skills and capacities. Our vision is to build a society where everyone has equal opportunities and is treated fairly, regardless of their affiliations, ensuring that no one’s rights are violated or overlooked.
