On January 30, 2025, the Association of Hazara Voice for Justice organized an awareness session with the UN Complementary Pathways for Resettlement team, attended by over 80 participants from various areas in Delhi. The session provided information on five resettlement pathways: family reunification, employment, sponsorship, education, and humanitarian visas. Representatives from the UN and the MAP organization answered questions and shared details on application processes, job skills, scholarships, and language tests like Duolingo and IELTS. The UN team encouraged individuals to seek assistance through official channels and assured continued updates on new opportunities. The Association of Hazara Voice for Justice (AHVJ) was founded in 2020 in New Delhi, India, by a group of Hazara refugees with the aim of advocating for the rights of refugees living in India and serving as a bridge between the Hazara community in India and relevant refugee organizations. AHVJ is also dedicated to offering educational, vocational, and awareness programs to help refugees enhance their skills and capacities. Our vision is to build a society where everyone has equal opportunities and is treated fairly, regardless of their affiliations, ensuring that no one’s rights are violated or overlooked.
